With the leading of your professional tour guide, you will start to  explore the remains slightly downwards to the lower gate.

 

The first stop is the plan of Ephesus, where you will have information about the history and the location of this magnificent  site.

 

Afterwards, you are going to start to walk in the second biggest Roman city as feeling yourself as a Roman aristocrat. On our route, you are going to visit the Upper Roman Bath and Gymnasium complex. While walking at the State Agora (state market) the Archaic Cemetery will be on your left.

 

The small theater with the capacity of 1400 people which was used as  Bouleuterion will be the next stop.

 

By walking downwards throug the Sacred Ramp you will reach to the Domitian Square.You will spend some time to see the Memmius Monument, Fountain of Polio, shops and well preserved Statue of Nike at this stop.

 

Via to the Hercules Gate you will be in the high life of Ephesians.The street as entitled as Curetes Street having shops with the porticos at the both sites following till to the port which were built for the aristocrats and the high class people.  

 

Trajain’s Fountain was one of the air conditioners of the streets.   Excellently reconstructed Temple of Hadrian will give you beautiful pictures.

 

It is time to have some fun at Latrine, where 48 Romans could seat together.

 

Celsus Library the third largest one in the antiquities, the masterpiece of Ephesus, will be the best  point for  the best shots.

 

Than you we will walk on the originally preserved Marble Street to   reach to the Grand Theater with 24.000 capacity where Saint Paul preached.At least you are going to final this unforgettable excursion walking on the Harbor Street which was illuminated by 50 torches,  reaching to the port.

 

Down there your private vehicle is waiting you, cooled before your arrival.

 

Next visit is to Sirince Village. This authentic village is reflecting the architectural style of characteristic  Aegean Houses.  Most of them were restored by the government so they will take you back to 18 th., 17 th. centuries  life/ambiance   while walking on the narrow stone streets. Very delicious  fruit vine  such as melon, peach, pear, apple, cherry, berries, apricot act. all produced by the villagers.  And you will exprience the Turkish hospitality here. All the wine shop keepers invite you to taste their own vine .. Beside this, you will have a chance to purchase the handicrafts that are made by the village girls. They sell them in front of their houses on the streets. Also  you may visit the Greek church which was partly restored  and located  at the upper part of the village with a beautiful panorama of the houses.

 

 

A visit to Terrace Houses is possible with an additional cost of 10$ US per person.
